American Skiing Company Launches 2005-2006 ALL FOR ONE
Season Pass
Tuesday, March 29, 2005

PARK CITY, UTAH (March 29, 2005) --American Skiing Company
announced that sales of its six-resort ALL FOR ONE (R)
Season Pass begin today and through May 7 will be sold at
the same price as this year’s season passes. Limited
quantities are available.
The ALL FOR ONE PASS currently for sale is valid for the
2005-2006 season at the following participating resorts:
Killington, Mount Snow and Pico in Vermont, Sunday River and
Sugarloaf/USA in Maine and Attitash in New Hampshire. The
pass will not include Haystack Mountain in Vermont.
Combined, the resorts represent 676 trails, 101 lifts, 4296
acres, and 260 miles of skiing and riding across three
states, and most of the resorts are within a few hours drive
of one another and major northeastern markets.
The success of the inaugural ALL FOR ONE program this season
and superb February and March snow conditions prompted the
Company to launch the sales while the lifts are still
spinning at all of its eastern resorts. “There’s a lot of
momentum in the market. We want to market the pass to skiers
and riders that are currently enjoying its benefits, and
also capture those guests that are enjoying the fantastic
snow conditions in the east,” said Chip Carey,
vice-president of sales and marketing for American Skiing
Company.
The flagship passes are the $349 Bronze with just 14
black-out days spread across the season and the $599 Gold
pass with no black-out days. A Super Senior Pass for $399
provides unlimited skiing for ages 65 and above. In total,
there are five different ALL FOR ONE PASSES available in
limited quantities with varying price points and benefits
attached to each. Although the prices have not risen for
2005-2006, the ALL FOR ONE PASSES carry new and improved
benefits including increased discounts in on-mountain retail
shops, free and discounted lift tickets for friends and
family, free Perfect Turn® clinics and VIP lodging rates at
all eight of the Company’s resorts, including Steamboat in
Colorado and The Canyons in Utah.
There will be a limited number of ALL FOR ONE PASSES
available. Carey said limiting sales and having blackout
days allows the company to control the overall resort
experience. “We continue to be aware of the balance needed
in the number of passes sold and when they can be used so as
to keep the high level of experience that our guests are
accustomed to, and last season, we sold out of the Silver
pass.”
The ALL FOR ONE PASS was introduced in 2004 in an effort to
introduce more people to the sport, lure lapsed skiers and
riders back to the slopes, and to increase the visits of
existing skiers and riders. “This program remains the best
deal in eastern skiing and the beauty of the pass is that it
pays for itself in six days,” Carey said. “This season,
passholders were able to choose from either their favorite
resort or they could simply follow the latest snowstorm—of
which there were many in New England.” Of the multi-resort
products available in the east, only the ALL FOR ONE PASS
provides skiing and riding at resorts in three different
states.
Interested skiers and snowboarders can call the individual
resorts or go online to AllForOnePass.com or to the resorts’
web sites to purchase.
