Hunting Rules
WATERBURY, VT A printable version of Vermonts deer hunting rules
for 2005 are posted on the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Departments website
(www.vtfishandwildlife.com).
The Vermont Legislature suspended deer hunting laws last winter and
delegated the authority to change deer hunting rules to the Fish &
Wildlife Board. The Board finalized the rules recently. The information
posted on the Fish & Wildlife Departments website is intended as a
supplement to the 2005 Vermont Digest of Hunting, Fishing & Trapping
Laws, which a hunter receives when purchasing a license.
Printed copies of the new rules will be available at license agents
in the near future according to the department.
