PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED OHRV RULE UPDATES

CONCORD, N.H. -- Amendments and updates to rules governing the use of
Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles (OHRV) will be the topic of a public
hearing on Friday, November 18, at 10 a.m. at New Hampshire Fish and
Game Department headquarters on Hazen Drive in Concord.

The proposed amendments include changes to registration and
registration procedures resulting from the fact that processing of OHRV
registrations is no longer handled by Correctional Industries, but in-house at
the N.H. Fish and Game Department; updating rules to reflect statutory
changes since the last time the rules were effective; amendments to the
application procedure for OHRV event permits; and snowmobile and wheeled
vehicle reciprocity with neighboring states.

The complete rulemaking notice form, with original and proposed rule
language, may be found at
http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Legislative/Notices_summary.htm.

Written comments must be received by November 29, 2005. Send to:
comments@wildlife.state.nh.us (subject line should say "OHRV Rules");
or mail to Executive Director, N.H. Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen
Drive, Concord, NH 03301; or fax to (603) 271-1438.
