OPEN HOUSE ON WINNISQUAM PUBLIC ACCESS SITE -- AUGUST 20

CONCORD, N.H. -- The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will host
an "Open House" on Saturday, August 20, from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Opechee
Park Clubhouse in Laconia, giving the public a chance to learn about
and offer their input on a proposed public boat access facility on Lake
Winnisquam. The proposed boat ramp would be built on property owned by
the State and the City of Laconia off Water Street.

The public "Open House" is not a formal hearing, but rather an
opportunity for concerned citizens to attend any time during the specified
hours to hear about the proposal, review the conceptual plan, ask questions
and provide comments.

N.H. Fish and Game will accept written comments and suggestions
relative to this project, if postmarked by September 19, 2005; submit comments
to: N.H. Fish and Game Department, Land Resources Bureau, 11 Hazen
Drive, Concord, NH 03301; or email to chenderson@wildlife.state.nh.us
(please include "Winnisquam comments" in the subject line).

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is the guardian of the
state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats.
