            NH MOOSE HUNT LOTTERY DEADLINE -- FRIDAY MAY 27

CONCORD, N.H. -- Would-be moose hunters: Friday, May 27, is the 
deadline to apply for the 2005 New Hampshire Moose Hunt Lottery. Enter to win 
one of 525 NH moose hunting permits at http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us, 
or pick up an application from any license agent. There is a 
nonrefundable $10 application fee. 

Lottery applications must be delivered to New Hampshire Fish and Game 
Department headquarters on Hazen Drive in Concord or submitted online 
prior to 4 p.m. EST on Friday, May 27, or postmarked by midnight that 
same day. 

Moose hunt lottery winners will be selected through a random number 
draw on June 17. The 2005 New Hampshire moose hunting season takes place 
October 15 to 23.
